Asking one of the popular bloggers of the Arab Spring (in Eqypt) “what technology did you use most commonly during the revolution?”
“Rocks. Rocks and clubs.” (quote is approximate from here) “We built a catapult. Of course, we looked up the plans for it online.... But we were attacked by paramilitary groups many times and had to defend ourselves.”
His BBC interview continues, discussing his role as an activist. Finally, he concludes with a comment regarding his brief visit to the United States, “Americans are a lot more human than we make them out to be. New Yorkers are, at least. Much more human.”
